Any way this last week has not been my week of glory in the old modeling department. Head modelling to put it politely is a bugger. Having not been taught by the uni on how to model a head as part of the animation course. I was left in the cold and dark to seek help for myself. While rage and anger was the food i survived on.
So i scowled the Internet for help, asked my fellow friends how do you make a head and i even read a book called "Stop Staring". But the fear of making a head and adventuring into the unknown was at large worrying about my edge flow, and what if questions.

So spending most of my week searching and trying different methods and tutorials which lead me so far until they left me standing. Yesterday i found this website
http://www.swinburne.edu.au/design/tutorials/P-maya/T-Maya-Modeling-Box-modeling-a-human-head/ID-172/
and i love soooo much as it is easy to follow, it explains what and why you doing stuff, it doesn't leave me standing and most important i now have a decent head in the making, wooo.
Swinburne uni teaches there students how to model a head for when they have an assignment on lip sync.

Another thing gone wrong with ye olde model this week is my hand i modeled last week.
Yes way back at stage 2 which i was sure was complete. Having spent a day making sure my head looked like a hand with the palm etc. I missed a MASSIVE CAPTAIN obvious mistake and that i had actual modeled my hands with an extra finger...Thanks Terry for pointing that out for me.

So major surgery had to be done to remove the finger, that wasn't actually Major but it was taking up time i need for headgate. So that my readers is where i am up too. hopefully me head should be modelled sometime in the near future, now that i have found a metaphorical road that will take me to where i need to go.
