It's Been A While...well 2 weeks

Well its been about two weeks with out an update. For all the people who have followed this blog since it's start, 2 weeks is nothing after the year of nothing. But seems i care now these 2 weeks have seemed like another empty year without posts.

Anyway driftwood from the point as they say on this blog. WhenI last blogged on this blog i was already to lip sync. So you are most likely expecting some sort of
playblast or rough animation that we can all have a laugh at right, right.

Unfortunately my lip sync has not moved as much forward as i would of liked it to have. So what on earth have been doing for the last 2 weeks. A fair bit actually.

Mainly storyboarding for the big superhero animation aka project 3 and for the visual effects project. Project 3 will need to do an
animatic but it's on the list to do before i cry.

&
What else....hmmm the footage from the magical Abbey Park has been placed into sequence and have done the match moving for it. The manatee will be in 5 shots. SO each member of the group will animate 1 scene of manateeness for the project.

Also i have been putting the sets together for project 3 big superhero animation. Using all the assets i have made and the rest of the group has made into one big wild west hamada desert thing. That turned out to be an issue in populating a huge space with cactus and cack so i then planed a small wild west hamada desert thing. Using groups of cactus variety to highlight areas.

So we didn't have to use loads of
geometry and crash the system. As we have 3 kinds of cactus modeled by me, Terry Saunders and Mark Loxton. Mark also made a rock and is head of lighting and Terry also created a Motel city thing! Don't ask. Arun then created the sky and that's kind of ready now for the final countdown animation. Which reminds me sound.

The last thing i have been doing over the last two weeks is the 3000 word essay. Which i blame for me not updating this blog. I run on a word meter and that used my words up for those 2 weeks. Here is small section of the essay:

"2008 film “Mamma Mia!” which is directed by female director Phyllida Lloyd. Not to be confused with Emma Thompson mum (Not the producer Emma Thomas but the writter and actress Emma Thompson mum) Phyllida Law."

So what now. Well this week is animation week wooo. So by Friday i should have some rough animation to show you. No ...change that, to will have some rough animation to show you for lip sync and floating manatee.

Those two have a deadline of next week. Wednesday
I'm creating sound for the manatee and yeah it's all go go go.

Here is a new promo featuring the actual Scenery geometry now, and not just some mountains and photoshop.
