Again most of the week has been dedicated to superhero project. This time with the rigging and creating constraints/controls for the character, oh and blend shapes.
Everything surprisingly went smoothly is the weight painting wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. But i have had a different mind set towards that this year. That it is just to tweak the rigging rather than making it a bigger scarier thing that what it actually is.
Blend shapes are but most of my joy has been from making controls so i don't have to click bones and joints, i can now just click a circle and rotate that.

The biggest issues i had was ticking boxes yes ticking boxes. I followed the pipeline wrong that was recommended. It was not a big deal but i did have to tick a few extra button. You see i did rig-weights-blend shapes instead of blend shapes-rig-weight. so when i made my blend shapes my rig did no longer work. This was all fixed though fairly easy. This was down to determination of not wanting to repeat stages i had already done.

So yes the Diamond Standard is now ready to be animated. The next thing though is storyboard which i will do over the weekend. As i will do project2&3 storyboards at the same time and make a day of it.
