A New Visual Effect Project

Yes last week we got given a new visual effects projects, straight after handing in the last visual effect project. I tell ya it feels like i have done 10 visual effects projects while the entire superhero project just plods along.

Any way i will see if the rest of the group will allow me to post up the last visual effect project. It's unlikely as i need permission from another group due to wife swapping footage with another group. So i may post up the visual effects project before that. Makes sense,, no well don't worry it doesn't make that much sense to me either.

Any way today i can't bare to look the diamond standard in the eye with so much to do i have decided to come on here and talk to you about the latest visual project. Which as a small team of 4 have decided on this -

The Project Proposal

• CG character is a Manatee that floats around in the air, like it’s the normal thing manatee do.
  

• Slow and graceful movement, which will then be a contrast to shots of the busy streets around campus.

• Manatee location will be Abbey Park. Colours will be more saturated to reinforce that Abbey park is nice colourful magical place to be.

• Where as uni is dull, de-saturated, not a magical place.

• How people react to the manatee is like it is the norm in Abbey Park. A shot of a type of birdwatcher man with a book on floating manatee. So we get some action between CG and real life.

• In terms of sound, manatee motif slow, uni fast.

so that's what we hope to do and what we have to pitch today. The only thing might get in the way is how i have worded point number 4. But hey ho. I will reply on this post later if we get the thumbs ups. With a big add on UPDATE word followed by the word yehhhhh or nay.

But for now i have textures to cut.

Here is a picture of a manatee i found i have decided to photoshop a lettuce on it. because it was relevant to the project. Not that i am tying to get to distracted from superhero.
